About Me

My name is Christopher Buller and I am a character artist who graduated from Gnomon in 2022 with a BFA in Digital Production. I have been an artist for most of my life but really decided to pursue game art in 2017. My hobbies include drawing, sculpting, playing games, and watching movies and shows. I would consider myself a caring, thoughtful person who loves learning new things. 

Skills

Modeling/Sculpting:

- Using Zbrush to create highly detailed models

- Modeling hard surface elements in Zbrush or Maya

- Retopologizing in Maya to optimize polycount for engine

- UVing and setting up proper texture sets

Texturing:

- Using reference to create realistic textures for characters and their props

- Skin texturing techniques

- Knowledge of shaders and texture sets

Look Development:

- Making changes based on visual appeal

- Always referring to concept to help ground the character or asset
